Amazing views from the hilltop position provided a peaceful retreat after the bustling city.
The steep hill made accessing public transport a significant challenge.

The rooms are clean with exceptionally comfortable beds and smoke detectors.

Food excellent, room comfortable, location handy for airport, night views of Malaga. Room rate reasonable.
Gave the impression of potentially excellent establishment under-performing. No reception staff on arrival, room balcony/outside area scruffy- gravel had weeds growing in it. Table service at dinner 'diffident' (trying to put it kindly...)

The view from our terrace was amazing, the cherry on top was the intimate pool setting and exquisite on-site dining options like Restaurant Amador.
Felt super comfortable, no reason to complain.

The hotel is perched on one of the small hills just away from the city centre of Malaga and the views of the sea and the sierras is stupendous. A panorama from the terrace the main restaurant the pool area and most rooms. It is a small hotel, once the home of an artist whose gentle modernist paintings are on many of the walls. A la carte the food is exceptionally good. We were quite impressed that should we have wanted to return late in the evening then access in to the hotel would be with a biometric impression of my index finger!! We were making our way slowly across to our home on San Andres near Conil; we spent time at the Picasso Museum which was totally absorbing and around the Alcazaba and paseos. The hotel made our stay in Malaga perfect.
We would have preferred a double bed which we requested two months before our arrival.

As a restaurant with rooms it was an excellent choice we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and definitely would come back to the hotel if we were again traveling around by car. The main reason for our visit was to experience the art and food of the hotel and for us it was perfect. The staff were so friendly and very accommodating.
For the city, it is a distance away but there is a bus at the bottom of the hill or a taxi can be used.

Fine views and great vibes in Malaga 🌅
Those views from our room are next level, mate! Big terrace with lounge chairs, made brekkie a total jol. The restaurant, flipping fantastic! Dinner was so lekker, proper tasty paella. The chommies at reception were also super helpful, even helped me fix my suitcase!
Getting to the bus stop is quite the trek, that hill is a killer after a long day.

A very nice restaurant and a very nice breakfast. Also a very nice room with balcony and views.
The transport to and from the city centre is by taxi only and the reception availabiltiy is limited.

The competency of the reception personnel was excellent, the hotel transmitted an aura of 5 stars and the price was absolutely affordable- at this time of the year (October).
Our room on the first floor was a little small. We had to walk across the back porch to get any view at all - standing up. But the view was worth the effort - any time! The office of the reception person appeared cluttered and could stand a good refit and upgrade. Not exactly representative and suited for the quality of the rest of the hotel.

A cozy hilltop retreat
The views from our private balcony were nice, especially during sunset. The staff were friendly. The dining experiences in the restaurant were good, with every meal surpassing expectations.
The guest room was a bit tight for space, leaving little room for luggage. Although the pre-ordered breakfast was tasty, the portion sizes exceeded our preferences on some mornings.

We were swept away by the view of Malaga from the terrace/restaurant. Then we were swept away by the food. Amador, Candice and Alex were great hosts being friendly helpful with just the right touch. We traded useful translations with the lovely ladies who sorted our breakfasts and received lots of useful advice on eating at other Andalusian restaurants from Candice which was very helpful in Ronda Cordoba and Antequera. Finally we were most impressed by the quality and scope of the artwork on display all over the hotel and were touched by the story behind it. A delightful visit and wonderful place to stay.

My husband and myself were looking for something not too close to the center in an intimite place. Villa Guadalupe has provided us not only with an intimate place, but also with a feeling like home. Constant care about the guests was always in place. The kitchen was fantastic. Nice dinners combined with a splendid view of Malaga gifted us a few remarkable eventings. We both endlessly appreciated the place and recommend it to those, who travel with a car (Vila Guadalupe provided free parking) and appreciate escape from the city for a while to more quiet places. Price wise the deal was totally fair. In case we come back to Malaga I would not even bother to search for other locations

Fine Views with Excellent Dining Experience
Fantastic stay with amazing panoramic views from the terrace. Enjoyed delicious meals at the onsite restaurant. The staff's warmth made dining more fun. Just a heads-up, the morning coffee could use some improvement for a richer flavor. A blend of charm and comfort!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was good but the enormous balcony made it fabulous. The restaurant was also excellent and we had the best food of the whole trip in Andalusia including a parador hotel. It is a bit out from Malaga city centre but taxis only cost 10 euro to the cathedral. I would recommend this hotel for a relaxing chill out.
I have no complaints about the hotel at all.

Very nice place, exelent views. Very good food. Nice pool.
I do not recommend breakfests in that hotel. Better to drive down the hill to local places.
